This is not an airplane model but a resin set of accessories. The package holds two pieces of the Browning .50 caliber (12.7 mm) aircraft machine gun in the flexible form. The parts replace the simplified armament of plastic kits and give it a faithful look.
The Browning .50 caliber, that is 12.7 mm, was an American air-cooled heavy machine gun and one of the most widespread aircraft weapons. In the flexible form a gunner worked it and aimed it by hand; it served as defensive armament in open gun positions and in turrets.
The parts are cast in resin and are intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting gates off carefully and bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend toning and weathering the metal shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
