Responsibility details are not available.
A brass photo-etched set in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW, intended to refine the external appearance of a model of the German fighter aircraft Fokker D.VII. It holds fine surface elements such as inspection panels, handholds, clasps and external fittings, which replace the coarser plastic details of the base kit. The set is NOT a model on its own – it is an upgrade accessory.
The Fokker D.VII was a German single-seat fighter biplane deployed at the end of the First World War in 1918. It was powered by the Mercedes D.III inline engine, and on the later machines by the more powerful BMW III. It was regarded as one of the best fighter aircraft of the war – so highly valued that the Allied powers named it explicitly among the material to be handed over.
Separate the parts carefully with a sharp knife or a fine razor saw on a cutting mat. A photo-etch bender will manage the accurate bends. Use cyanoacrylate glue, or a slower epoxy that gives you time to position the parts. Degrease the brass before painting and prime it.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
