Pre-cut self-adhesive masks in 1:32 scale intended for painting a model of the carrier version of the Hurricane. The product is not a kit, nor is it a set of parts or decals. It is an aid that takes the most tedious part out of painting, that is the precise outlining of the areas that must not receive paint.
On naval machines several shades with sharp transitions are often combined, so the order matters. Spray the lighter shades first, then the darker ones, and always mask only after the previous coat has dried perfectly. Once the mask is applied, press the edges down with a blunt tool and spray a thin coat of the base shade over the edge. Any bleed is then filled with the shade that belongs there anyway. Remove the mask while the paint is not yet fully cured.
The Sea Hurricane was the naval adaptation of the Hawker Hurricane intended for operation from ships. Compared with the land version it had strengthening for arrested landings and other features needed for naval service. The Mk.IIc version corresponded in armament to the cannon-armed form. The machines operated over the sea, where a corrosive environment had to be reckoned with, and for that reason they carried different color schemes from aircraft operating over land.
The package contains masks only. The model and the paints are not included. The set is cut for a particular kit in the given scale.
