Aber 1:35 rear fenders for the Panzer IV is a photo-etched metal detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for models of military equipment in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An Aber photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale. It holds finely made rear fenders usable on all the main versions of the Panzer IV medium tank. They replace the thicker plastic fenders from the box and make it possible to render bent or damaged sheet as well, typical of vehicles in service.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War, built in many versions from the Ausf. A to the Ausf. J. The rear fenders were often bent or torn off in the field, and the photo-etched version allows such traces of wear to be rendered faithfully.
The photo-etched metal parts are thin and small, so separate them with a sharp knife on a cutting surface and bend them over a metal ruler or a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a coat of primer so that the finish holds; at the end a fine wash and pigments help to pick out the detail.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
