A set of three sections of the Berlin Wall in 1:35 scale for building dioramas and display scenes from the time of the Cold War.
Responsibility details are not available.
From 1961 the Berlin Wall separated the western part of the city from its eastern surroundings, and it stayed standing until 1989. Its final form was made up of concrete sections set side by side, finished at the top with a smooth pipe that could not be gripped by hand. The western side became covered with graffiti over the years, while the eastern one stayed bare and guarded.
The set contains three sections of the wall in 1:35 scale, that is, in the most widespread size for military equipment and figures. The sections can be set up in a row, or they can be separated and used as the background of a smaller scene.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. Concrete is rarely uniform: over a base light gray shade lay a thinner dark glaze, let it run into the joints and then go over the edges with a dry brush in a lighter tone. At the bottom it is useful to suggest stains from splashing water and dust. Graffiti is applied right at the very end, with a thin brush or a decal, and only on one side of a section.
It will be appreciated by builders of dioramas from the time of the Cold War as well as by those looking for a striking backdrop for equipment and figures in 1:35 scale. Paints, glue, a base and figures are not supplied, unless stated otherwise.
