A brass photo-etched set from Voyager Model in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but a collection of brass parts for building the 200-liter fuel drums used by the Chinese army. The drums will serve as equipment on a vehicle or as an accessory for a diorama and a scene.
Two-hundred-liter steel drums are a common means of carrying and storing fuel with armies all over the world. They have characteristic circumferential ribs and caps. The photo-etched version makes faithfully thin walls and fine detail on the closures possible.
Roll the body of the drum into a cylinder according to the instructions and glue it, using a suitable core to hold the shape if need be. Bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a base coat suitable for metal before painting; traces of corrosion, scuffing and spilled fuel with washes and pigments are effective.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
