The model captures this compact four-wheeler of the French Army and offers hatches and doors that can be opened, so the shape of the hull can be shown off nicely. The package holds parts in gray plastic, decals and instructions; it is a smaller but detailed kit of modern equipment.
The Panhard VBL (Vehicule Blinde Leger) is a light armored reconnaissance car with four-wheel drive, taken into service by the French Army at the end of the 1980s. It is used for reconnaissance, liaison and anti-tank tasks, and it is valued for high mobility, small size and good cross-country performance. Depending on the version it carries a machine gun or anti-tank guided missiles as armament, and a number of armies around the world use it.
Use liquid cement for plastic and clean up the parts with a sharp knife. We recommend assembling and painting the running gear before you close the hull. An airbrush and a basic primer suit the modern green-gray or desert camouflage schemes; build the weathering with washes and dust pigments on the wheel arches and the underside of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
