The model offers photo-etched parts and link-and-length tracks and captures the characteristic low turret with the long gun. The AMX-50 was a French heavy tank developed after the Second World War. The AMX-50B version was its late prototype with a low so-called oscillating turret and a long gun of large caliber. It stayed at the prototype stage only — the category of heavy tanks was becoming obsolete quickly at the time and the project was ended before it was put into production. The vehicle is therefore a rewarding subject for lovers of unusual designs that stayed at the project stage.
Assemble and paint the link-and-length tracks and the running gear before the hull is finished. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. On a prototype you can choose a single-color French finish — after the paint has been sprayed on, emphasize the details with a wash and add restrained dust and mud effects with pigments, corresponding to trials rather than to combat use.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
