Injection-molded plastic set in 1:35 scale from Master Box. It is a genre scene that brings together figures of American paratroopers and civilians with a period light vehicle. From the set you can therefore build a compact vignette set in Normandy in 1944.
The scene captures American paratroopers who, after the landings, are moving through the French countryside and catch a lift from a passing civilian vehicle. In this line Master Box devotes itself to less common genre scenes that bring the everyday as well as the dramatic moments of the war closer from a human point of view. The figures and the vehicle are rendered with the emphasis on period detail of the uniforms, the civilian clothing and the vehicle.
Separate the figures and the vehicle parts from the sprue, clean up the mold lines and glue them with liquid cement for plastic, and glue the clear plastic of the windows with care. Apply a primer before painting. It pays to set the different materials of the scene - the uniforms, the civilian clothes and the paint of the vehicle - apart in color and to finish them with weathering. The whole will show best on a small diorama with a stretch of road and some greenery.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
