A figure of a Kriegsmarine sailor on ceremonial parade, 1:35 scale, for scenes with German fast boats.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a Kriegsmarine sailor in 1:35 scale, conceived as a man on ceremonial parade. It is intended for scenes with German fast boats, so it suits deck scenes as well as a harbor diorama where the crew is falling in or taking orders. The figure alone gives a model scale: without one, the viewer can only guess the size of a boat or a quay from the details, while with it he sees it at once.
Before painting, wash the figure in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let it dry completely; grease from the fingers is the most common reason why paint does not hold on small parts. Cut any excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the edges of the uniform and the face are not damaged. Choose how to glue it and how to join any parts according to the material the figure is made of and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
On figures it is the face and the shadow in the folds of the cloth that decide, not the number of shades. Lay down a base tone, then a darker glaze in the folds and finally bring out the edges with a dry brush. Ceremonial dress takes a sharper contrast than working dress, because its lines are more pronounced.
A figure is supplied. Paints, glue and a kit of the boat are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
