1:35 Marbel Decal Blue/Beige

Marble Decal Blue/Beige - marble paving (1:35, USCHI van der Rosten)

A decal sheet with the texture of a marble floor in a blue and beige form, not a kit. It creates a realistic paved floor for dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale - grand halls, the interiors of public buildings, courtyards. The cooler blue and beige combination gives a scene an elegant, mildly formal character. The pattern is printed on thin film that blends with the base once sealed with clear and does not look like applied paper. The manufacturer is the German brand USCHI van der Rosten.

Use

• Level the base smooth and spray it on the light side - the tone shows through the film.
• For a three-dimensional impression, pre-shade the base with good contrast; it softens slightly once the decal is applied but stays legible.
• Apply the decal wet onto a flat surface and settle it with a setting solution against bubbles.
• Pick the joints out with a wash and add grime with pigments.
• Finish with a clear coat according to the sheen the floor is to have.

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 who are looking for a cooler marble floor with a formal, elegant air and no laborious painting by hand.

This is a finishing accessory (a decal), not a model. Paints, clear coat, setting solutions and a base board are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
