An injection-molded plastic set of pigeon figures in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer MiniArt. It is not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft but an accessory for dioramas: the set contains a larger number of pigeons in various natural poses that bring urban, rural and military scenes to life. The birds suit roofs, squares, yards and the company of figures.
The domestic pigeon is among the typical inhabitants of towns and the countryside, and in a diorama it can give a scene life and scale. Small birds on paving, window ledges or wires look natural and help tell the story of the scene. The various poses let you capture pigeons sitting, pecking and taking off.
Separate the small parts carefully with a sharp knife and clean up the parting lines. Because of their size it pays to paint the birds separately before setting them into the scene. Treat the surface with primer, lay the base color on with an airbrush or a brush and finish the feathers with dry-brushing and soft transitions. Place the pigeons in small groups for a natural impression.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
