A plastic kit, the Tamiya Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F in 1:35 scale - the early version of the German medium tank with the short 75 mm gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F in 1:35 scale from the maker Tamiya. The model captures the early version of the tank with the short gun and strengthened frontal armor. It is built as an unassembled kit.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War and served from its start to its end. The Ausf.F version of 1941 received stronger frontal armor and carried a short 75 mm gun (L/24) meant above all for infantry support; longer anti-tank guns came only with the later versions. The wide hull and the roomy turret made the Panzer IV a universal and easily modernized platform, thanks to which it stayed in production throughout the war. Tanks of the Ausf.F version fought on the Eastern Front and in North Africa and formed an important part of the German armored units in the early years of the war.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull first. Tamiya recommends assembling the link-and-length tracks so that a natural sag of the upper run arises; a jig for assembling them tends to be part of the mold. For a faithful look use a primer, an airbrush, washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud according to the theater chosen (gray Europe or sandy Africa). Bringing out the rivets and the edges will give the model depth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
