An accessory set of photo-etched parts from the Copper State Models brand for a model of the British armored car Lanchester in the version of its Russian service in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit in its own right - the set serves for detailing a model of the armored car and replaces simplified plastic parts with fine metal ones.
The armored Lanchester came about at the beginning of the First World War on the chassis of the British car of the same name and was one of the most elegant armored vehicles of its day. Some of the cars reached the Eastern Front with a British expeditionary armored unit, where the machines operated in Russian service in demanding conditions from the Caucasus to Romania. It is precisely this chapter of the Lanchesters' service that is one of the most interesting subjects for a build and for a diorama alike.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and clean the edges up with a fine file. Bend the flat grab handles, the chains and the fine mesh with tweezers with smooth jaws or in a bending tool; run longer bends against a steel ruler. Glue with super glue, and degrease and prime before painting - a wash and a dusty patina will then show beautifully on the armored car.
An accessory set - the kit of the vehicle, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
