This is a photo-etched brass detail set from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a set of metal parts for faithfully rendering the mounting of the side (auxiliary) fuel tanks and the smoke canisters on a model of the Soviet T-34 tank. You use it above all to replace the coarse plastic retaining straps, brackets and mounts, which look far more realistic in thin metal.
The T-34 carried cylindrical auxiliary tanks along the sides of the hull and smoke canisters at the rear, held by thin sheet straps with buckles. It is precisely these straps and mounts that are oversized in plastic; the Aber photo-etched parts make them more accurate and more convincing. The set serves to supplement and refine, and the tanks themselves are usually taken from the model.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape the fine straps around the tanks with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); they can also be soldered. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer. The tanks and the straps will then carry strong weathering, with mud, dust and abrasion.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
