Sleeping bags number 2 (Schlafsack), 2 pieces in 1:35 scale from MAiM: a pair of sleeping bags for field camps, bivouacs and diorama interiors. Unpainted castings to be painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
Version number 2 of the sleeping bags in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer MAiM brings two pieces at once, a practical package for anyone building a scene with several figures. A camp with a single sleeping bag looks deserted; two or more tell of a unit, a family on the run or a pair of travelers. The props are supplied as unpainted castings to be cleaned up and painted.
A pair of sleeping bags establishes a whole bivouac: lay them out around a fireplace, in a tent, on the bunks of a shelter or on the floor of an abandoned building. They also work superbly as a load, strapped to backpacks, on the bed of a vehicle or on the roof of a refugees' car in a modern or post-apocalyptic scene. Combined with version number 1 of the same MAiM range you get three pieces of different shapes and a camp with no visible repetition.
Paint each of the pair differently, because a different shade and degree of wear give a scene naturalness, since no real kit is uniform. Lighten muted green, brown and gray tones with a dry brush on the folds, bring out the hollows with a wash and dust the surface lightly with pigments. In a winter scene a pale, faded treatment and a faint hint of damp at ground level will help.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted castings to be cleaned up and painted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
