An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Dragon. It depicts Soviet infantrymen riding on the hull of a tank (tank desant), in poses suited to being seated on an armored vehicle. The figures are assembled and painted and are intended for dioramas with Red Army vehicles.
Carrying infantry on tanks was a common Red Army tactic in the Second World War; the soldiers held on to the hull and dismounted just before combat. The figures capture the period uniform, helmets and weapons of the Soviet infantry.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. The poses are best seated and fine-tuned directly on the particular tank model. Apply a primer, then build up the shades of the uniforms with an airbrush and a brush; a wash will bring out the folds.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
