An injection-molded plastic model of the Soviet armored artillery tractor T-20 Komsomolets in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The kit contains photo-etched parts and individual track links. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The T-20 Komsomolets was a small Soviet fully tracked tractor with light armor, built from the end of the 1930s. It served to tow light artillery, above all 45 mm anti-tank guns and heavy mortars, and it also carried part of the crew and the ammunition. Unlike most tractors, the vehicle had an armored front section and a machine gun for self-defense. After the heavy losses of 1941, some of the machines also fell into German hands.
On armored vehicles, finish the running gear before you close the hull. Assemble the individual track links patiently and paint them separately. Spray the base over a primer, and bring the Soviet green to life with a wash in the recesses and dust pigments on the tracks and the lower hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate only at the end; dry brushing will accentuate the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
