A photo-etched metal set from Aber in 1:35 scale for the plastic model of the German Tiger I Ausf.E (Sd.Kfz. 181) heavy tank in its late version. It holds thin photo-etched parts that replace the coarser plastic parts and add the fine detail typical of late production.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with an 88 mm KwK 36 gun. The late version differed from the early ones in a number of details, for instance one-piece steel road wheels, simplified fenders and a revised commander's cupola.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade, bend them in a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal and prime it. Once painted, bring the detail out with washes and dust pigments; simulating a Zimmerit coating suits it too.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
