This injection-molded plastic kit captures the late version of the legendary German Tiger I heavy tank. The assembled model measures about 41 cm. The package contains a generous complement of parts, including details of the interior, which can be displayed with the turret removed, photo-etched engine screens, vinyl tracks, decals and two color schemes.
The Tiger I was a heavy tank that became a symbol of German armored strength in the Second World War. It was marked by thick armor and the feared 88 mm gun, which could knock an opponent out at long range. The late version brought a number of production changes, for example one-piece road wheels and new solutions to the details.
Finish and paint the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. Attach the photo-etched screens with super glue. Add a mask or brown-green patches over a base of dark yellow, and build the weathering with a dark wash, dust pigments and mud effects on the underside and the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
