A set of cast resin road wheels for a model of the American M48 series medium tank in 1:35 scale from DEF Model. Unlike the tires of wheeled vehicles, these are road wheels of a tracked suspension with rubber tire bands, rendered with a realistic weighted effect, that is a slight sag where they meet the track.
The M48 Patton is an American medium tank whose running gear consists of a row of rubber-tired wheels. A faithful rendering of the compressed bands gives the model the impression of the weight of a standing vehicle.
Separate the castings from the casting blocks, clean them up and degrease them; use cyanoacrylate glue for the resin. Even the bands out in a dark gray or black color, the discs in the color of the vehicle, and finish the whole with dusting from pigments. The parts are shaped for the Dragon kit.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and is meant for finishing the matching model.
