An unassembled plastic kit of the British Valentine infantry tank in its Mk.III version, in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The model is meant to be glued and painted; the parts are injection-molded in polystyrene and complemented by photo-etched items for the fine detail.
The Valentine was among the most numerous British infantry tanks of the Second World War. It stood out for good armor at compact dimensions and for its reliability. The Mk.III version was given a reworked turret with room for a crew of three; the main armament was a gun of 40 mm caliber (the 2-pounder). The Valentine served in North Africa and was delivered in large numbers to the Soviet Union as well.
We recommend assembling and fine-tuning the running gear and the suspension before you close the hull. Use thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay the base on with an airbrush, and build up the color transitions and the weathering, the dust and mud effects, with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
