The set holds replacement wheels and tires in resin for building a model of the L4500 R Maultier heavy truck in 1:35 scale, with a tread matching Dunlop tires. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory replacing the wheels from the base kit; the tires have a sag shaped in where they touch the road. The wheels are intended for the Zvezda kit.
The L4500 R Maultier was a half-track heavy truck: at the rear it had a tracked suspension for moving over rough ground, at the front steered wheels. This variant of the set is meant for the Allied (captured) guise and carries the Dunlop tire pattern; captured vehicles put back into service also served on the Allied side.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the rims and the tire treads separately, and masking will help. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an add-on set of wheels, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
