Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the ship Ise (hull designation DDH-182) of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in 1:350 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The model consists of injection-molded plastic parts that have to be assembled and painted. Depending on the particular edition, clear parts, decals and illustrated instructions are usually included; deluxe versions may hold photo-etched parts and models of the shipboard helicopters.
Ise is a helicopter destroyer of the Hyuga class of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, commissioned at the turn of the first decade of the 21st century. Thanks to her full-length flight deck she works as a helicopter carrier and carries anti-submarine and multipurpose helicopters. She serves to protect sea lanes, for anti-submarine warfare and for the command of operations.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and plan the sequence from the hull to the flight deck and the superstructure. The gray shades of the hull are best applied with an airbrush, and the deck markings and the details with a brush. A modern ship usually carries only discreet weathering; the engraved lines can be brought out with a paneliner wash, and aftermarket photo-etched railings can be added. Consider whether you are building the full hull or the waterline version on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
