A collector's model of the Skoda 1203 light commercial vehicle in the fire service version, in 1:43 scale. It is supplied finished.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Skoda 1203 is a light commercial vehicle that was built in Czechoslovakia from the late 1960s and stayed on the roads for long decades. It was built in several versions, from a panel van through a minibus to ambulance and flatbed versions, and became an ordinary part of the traffic of companies and public services of the day. That is exactly why almost everyone remembers it in one guise or another: as a mail van, as an ambulance, or as a vehicle at a fire station.
The model captures the vehicle in the fire service version, that is in the colors in which these vans served with fire brigades. The 1:43 scale is the most widespread among collector's car models, so the model will take its place beside the other vehicles in a collection without trouble and will fit into the row by size.
The model is supplied finished; it is neither assembled nor painted, so once it is unpacked all that is left is to find a place for it. It will do best in a display case out of direct sunlight; sunlight changes the shade of both paint and printing over time. Take the dust off it with a soft dry brush or a cloth and avoid solvents and cleaning agents, which could damage the printing. Small protruding parts such as the mirrors and the wipers are delicate on models of this scale, so pick the model up by the body, not by them.
Paints, glue and tools are not needed for the model, as it is supplied finished and painted. The extent of the package is given by the manufacturer.
