Battle of the Atlantic: Anti-Submarine Warfare Set I 1:700 is a plastic set for building an anti-submarine scene from the Battle of the Atlantic.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set in 1:700 scale from Flyhawk, conceived as the basis for an anti-submarine scene from the Battle of the Atlantic. Instead of a single ship it holds a combination of subjects: a British J-class destroyer, a German Type VII submarine and a Short Sunderland patrol flying boat, completed by etched parts, decals and a base. The set thus makes it possible to build a small naval diorama.
The Battle of the Atlantic was a long struggle for the sea supply routes, in which Allied destroyers and aircraft hunted German submarines. J-class destroyers formed the backbone of convoy escort, the four-engine Sunderland patrolled over the ocean and the Type VII submarine was the most widespread German attack boat. Their duel decided the fate of the supply lines.
Bend the small etched parts with tweezers and bond them with super glue, and glue the plastic parts with thin liquid cement. Paint the models separately and finish the sea surface of the base with shades and varnish for the impression of water. Bring out the details with a wash and drybrushing. The arrangement of the ship, the submarine and the aircraft will make a dynamic scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
