Responsibility details are not available.
This is a finished collector's model in 1:43 scale from the Czech manufacturer Abrex, which specializes in miniatures of Skoda cars. The model is neither glued nor painted — it arrives complete, in the factory finish of the shade Maple Brown Metallic, and is intended for display in a cabinet or in a collection. It is the particular shade that is the main distinguishing mark on models of this line: the same body comes out in colors matching the range of the real car, so a collector builds up a series by the finish.
The fourth generation Skoda Octavia was presented at the turn of 2019 and 2020 and followed on from the marque's best-selling model. Against its predecessor it received a markedly reworked front with split headlights, a longer hood and an interior with a two-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument display. It was offered in liftback and estate configurations and with a wide range of powerplants including mild hybrid and plug-in versions. The model captures the forms of exactly this generation in the shape in which the car entered the market.
A model in 1:43 scale measures roughly a fifth of a meter, so it fits even a smaller cabinet and keeps legible proportions in a row beside other cars. Collector's models of this class as a rule have glazing, printed detail of the lights and badges and a painted body — so treat the model as a cabinet piece, not as a toy. Both the finish and the pad printing are easily scratched by dust rubbed off dry, so rather dust the model with a soft brush. Display it out of direct sunlight, which over time does no good to the colors or the plastic parts.
This is a finished model intended for display, neither a kit nor a toy for small children.
