This is a set of self-adhesive masking stencils cut from kabuki paper, the fine Japanese washi. It is neither a model nor a construction accessory; it serves for quick and accurate masking of the cockpit glazing and other surfaces when painting with an airbrush. The stencils are shaped directly to the outlines of the frames and are made for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 in the D, D-1/R-1, D-3, E and E-2 versions in 1:48 scale.

Use

• Stick the stencils onto the cockpit frames, onto the clear parts they are made for and onto the wheels.
• Kabuki paper follows the shape well, stays in place and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.
• The BASIC level covers the glazing, the other clear parts and the wheels, which is the groundwork for a clean spray.
• Once the paint is on and dry, the masks are peeled off and the edge of the color stays sharp.
