Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two fixed Browning .50 caliber heavy aircraft machine guns in 1:48 scale from the Greek manufacturer GasPatch Models. The parts are cast in fine light gray resin with faithful detail of the barrel, the body of the weapon and the mounting. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for faithful fixed armament on models of Second World War fighters. The set is intended for experienced modelers.
The Browning .50 caliber (12.7 mm) was the standard heavy aircraft machine gun of American aircraft of the Second World War. As a fixed, forward-firing weapon it was fitted in the wings and the fuselage of fighters and became the main armament of many American machines. The set reproduces its fixed form.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the barrels come out well in a dark steel and metal color, and the muzzles can be picked out with a fine patina.
This is a supplementary resin set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the airplane are not included in the package.
