A photo-etched brass set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a modeling accessory: a set of exterior details such as covers, grilles, sensors, faces and fine panels, which refine the surface of the model and add faithful detail beyond the plastic parts.
The Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II is an American fifth-generation fighter with reduced radar visibility. The B version is the standard for short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) with a lift fan, meant for operating from smaller decks and forward bases.
Separate the photo-etched brass parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, form the bends in a bending tool or with a ruler and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Clean the surfaces before gluing and roughen them lightly for better grip. Glue the small photo-etched parts on only once the model is basically assembled, so that they meet the surface panels exactly.
