A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for refining the exterior of the model of the American McDonnell F-4C Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. The photo-etched metal parts fill out thin exterior elements such as panels, hatches, grilles and blanking plates, which are hard to form in injection-molded plastic. It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The McDonnell F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat twin-engine multirole fighter, one of the most important combat aircraft of the Cold War. The F-4C version was the first production variant for the US Air Force and was put into action among other places in Vietnam.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and clean up the cut faces. Use a bending tool or a straight edge for the bends. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and degrease the surfaces before the clear coat.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
