This set is a resin accessory, not a kit of a whole aircraft. It contains faithfully rendered Soviet FAB-100 aerial bombs for complementing the external stores of a model from the Second World War period. The accessory will bring both a diorama and the model itself to life with realistic weapons.
The FAB-100 was a Soviet high-explosive fragmentation aerial bomb of around a hundred kilograms, widely used by the Soviet Air Force during the Second World War. It was carried by a number of front-line bombers and attack machines. It was one of the most widespread bombs of its class.
The parts are resin and intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the mold release residue off them, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); wear respiratory protection while sanding. The bombs were usually painted in a uniform shade; the welds and the fins can be brought out with a fine wash and light weathering.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
