German Artillery Ranks WWII 1:48 - a colored photo-etched set of rank insignia from Eduard for detailing figures of the German artillery of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale in a pre-colored finish. It holds the rank insignia and patches of the German ground artillery of the Second World War period: collar patches, shoulder boards and other insignia in the branch color of the artillery. The set serves for detailing figures or for a diorama. It is not a model but an accessory for figures.
The German ground artillery of the Second World War distinguished ranks by a system of collar patches and shoulder boards; membership of the artillery was shown by a characteristic branch color. These small but prominent features of the uniform are hard to paint in a small scale.
The small pre-colored insignia are carefully removed from the sheet and glued to the relevant places on the figure's uniform with super glue. Tweezers make the work easier; once the insignia are in place they can be brought out lightly.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. Figures are not included in the package.
