This is not a model but a resin detail set. It replaces the exhaust nozzle of the engine in its late form and adds to the model the realistic internal structure that plastic parts usually simplify. A faithfully executed nozzle is among the most clearly visible improvements to the rear of the fuselage.
The Mirage IIICJ (the Shahak in Israeli service) was a supersonic fighter with a tailless delta wing and an Atar engine. The exit section of the engine changed in detail over the course of production and service; the late nozzle has different internal and external shaping, which this set captures exactly.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades with heat staining and blackening before you glue it into the fuselage. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
