Northrop developed the F-5E Tiger II as a simple, light and inexpensive supersonic fighter. It was powered by a pair of J85 engines and the machine became one of the most widespread fighters of its category in the world. The ROCAF was among its largest users and some of the machines were assembled in Taiwan itself; for many years the F-5E formed the backbone of its fighter defense there.
Glue the plastic with a thin modeling cement. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage; mask the glazing and spray over a primer base. Fit the stores, the wingtip Sidewinder missiles and the auxiliary fuel tanks last, according to the markings you have chosen. Glue the fine photo-etched parts, such as the mirrors and the intake screens, with cyanoacrylate glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
