A set of vacuum-formed clear canopies for models of the Polikarpov I-185 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement glazing that takes the place of the thicker plastic part from the kit and makes the cockpit interior easier to see.
The Polikarpov I-185 was a Soviet fighter prototype of the Second World War period with a radial engine and promising flight performance. In the end it never reached series production, yet it remains a rewarding subject for modelers.
Cut the part out carefully with sharp scissors right along its outline, fit it to the fuselage and glue it with a cement suitable for clear parts or with a small amount of thin cyanoacrylate glue. Vacuum-formed glazing is thin and more transparent than the plastic original, so handle it with care and varnish it thinly.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
