Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML brings two schemes of Yakovlev Yak-3 aircraft flown by Soviet fighter aces of the Second World War. The first part of the series offers the colorful personal markings of particular pilots. AML is a Czech manufacturer with dense registration and a thin film.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 was among the lightest and most agile Soviet fighters of the end of the Second World War and was popular for its excellent handling at low altitude. The aircraft of aces often carried personal emblems, inscriptions and prominent victory markings. The set captures these varied individual markings including the red stars.
Coat the base with gloss varnish, release the decal in warm water, position it and press the remaining water out with a cloth; a softener helps it settle into the detail. Finally even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is an additional decal sheet. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
