Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a Soviet aircraft mechanic of the Warsaw Pact period in 1:48 scale from the brand Aerobonus. The designation (2) distinguishes this piece from the other variants in the line of Soviet mechanics. The man serves as an accessory for models of Soviet aircraft and for dioramas of ground servicing.
The Soviet technical personnel kept the aviation equipment in operation during the Cold War. Mechanics in working overalls carried out the maintenance, the preflight preparation and small repairs right at the stand. The figure matches the period appearance of the servicing crews.
The figure is cast in resin, so before gluing wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. It is advisable to apply a primer first for adhesion and to paint the figure with a brush, with the emphasis on the face and the folds of the clothing; a final wash will bring out the details.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
