DakkaDakka - Knights of the Dark Side - Heads 1:48

DakkaDakka - Knights of the Dark Side - Heads 1:48

This is a modeling accessory for figures from the DakkaDakka range by Green Stuff World, specifically replacement heads from the Knights of the Dark Side sub-range. It is not a figure and not a standalone model but parts meant for varying figures of the matching size. The sub-range is pitched in a fantasy style and its name is the manufacturer's name in the original wording.

What the accessory is for

Replacement heads are the most frequently bought kind of accessory for figures, because the ratio between the effort put in and the resulting difference is the best with them. A unit put together from identical figures looks monotonous and the individual pieces in it cannot be told apart, yet varying the heads is enough to bring the group to life at once. The Knights of the Dark Side sub-range has shapes of its own, so it can also be used as a distinguishing element against the rest of a collection. The range is divided up by body part and the sub-ranges can be combined.

What to look at before buying

• Heads from the different DakkaDakka sub-ranges differ in shape; compare them.
• Judge compatibility with a particular figure from the dimensions given by the manufacturer.
• The number of pieces in the package and the material are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
• The 1:48 figure is the manufacturer's designation for the whole DakkaDakka range.
• The accessories can be combined with parts from the other sub-ranges in the range.

Who the accessory is for

For tabletop players building larger units and for modelers who do figure conversions and are looking for heads with a strong shape. Suitable too for collectors who care that no two figures in a display case are identical.

This is an accessory for figures, not a standalone model. The look and the division of the parts differ between the individual DakkaDakka sub-ranges.
