A resin kit from the Czech manufacturer Plus Model in 1:48 scale for experienced modelers. It captures a small American service scooter with a cargo box of the kind that served to deliver mail, documents and small materiel. Thanks to its compact dimensions it is an ideal way to liven airfield and rear area dioramas up.
The American army of the Second World War used light motor scooters as a cheap and economical means of transport for messengers and supply within bases and airfields. The version with a cargo box carried mail, spare parts and provisions between hangars, stores and staffs. This small item of equipment appears on dioramas only rarely, and that is exactly why it can set a scene apart from the ordinary at once.
First wash the resin parts with warm soapy water and remove the remains of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and sand the marks down; protect your airways while sanding. Join the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint it in the shade of olive drab; a fine dust wash and scuffs on the edges will pleasantly liven the machine up. We recommend gluing the small parts under a magnifier and with tweezers.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
