Turned brass barrels for the American naval gun of 356 mm (14 inch) caliber and 50 calibers length, in the variant for turrets with canvas blast bags. A set of 12 pieces in 1:700 scale, a replacement for the plastic barrels on models of the battleships of the New Mexico and Tennessee classes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains twelve turned brass barrels for the American naval gun of 356 mm (14 inch) caliber and 50 calibers length. It is the variant for gun turrets with canvas blast bags, which sealed the passage of the barrel through the turret. This main armament was carried by the battleships of the New Mexico (BB-40) and Tennessee (BB-43) classes.
The metal barrels replace the original plastic parts of the kit and bring a perfectly symmetrical profile, a sharply turned muzzle and faithful dimensions. Fitting consists of cutting off the plastic barrel and seating the brass replacement in its place.
The material resists bending, holds its shape and once painted looks entirely realistic. Twelve barrels cover the complete main battery of these battleships.
