The USS John F. Kennedy was the last conventionally (non-nuclear) powered aircraft carrier of the US Navy. As the only one of her kind she was a derived variant of the Kitty Hawk class. She entered service in 1968 and served for decades until she was withdrawn in 2007. She carried a numerous carrier air wing.
With a ship model, decide whether you are building the full hull or the waterline variant for a striking sea base. Paint the deck and the superstructure in sections and the aircraft separately. Glue the fine photo-etched parts, such as the railings, with super glue. The model comes into its own on the supplied stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
