An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-26-4 artillery tank in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The model captures the variant with a larger turret carrying heavier-caliber armament for fire support. The smaller 1:72 scale suits collections as well as a diorama.
The T-26-4 was the artillery variant of the widespread Soviet T-26 light tank. On the chassis of an ordinary T-26 it carried an enlarged turret with a larger-caliber gun that was to give the infantry direct fire support. It was built in small numbers only and remained a marginal version of the T-26 family.
Cut the tiny running gear parts away carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. We finish the running gear before closing up the hull. We recommend an undercoat, airbrush spraying in Soviet green, a wash in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
