Within the Atlantic Wall, built along the coast of western Europe between 1942 and 1944, the turrets of tanks that were no longer adequate were used for economical defense, mounted on fixed concrete positions. The turret of the Panzer II light tank with its quick-firing armament was one of the types put to this second use.
This is a resin kit for experienced modelers. First wash the parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces back with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Assemble the concrete bed and the turret once the mating surfaces have been cleaned and sanded. A concrete surface comes out well in plaster gray shades with the edges lightly emphasized, and the weathering is more easily achieved with a wash and pigments.
The model is supplied as a resin kit, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
