AML painting masks for the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI in the late form, 1:72 scale — a release shaped for a different kit, with clean camouflage edges at every spray job.
Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech manufacturer AML for spraying the camouflage onto a model of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI in the late form, 1:72 scale. This is a separate release shaped for a different kit from the one the other release of these masks is intended for, so check before you buy which model you are building. A well planned procedure with masks turns the painting of a twin-engine aircraft from the riskiest part of the build into a routine: you work out the order of the shades, stick them on, spray and lift them off.
The Beaufighter made its name wherever endurance, range and firepower were needed: as a night fighter with airborne radar, as a reconnaissance aircraft and as an aircraft for strikes against shipping targets. The Mk.VI version was powered by Hercules radial engines, and the late series brought modifications to the airframe, among them tail surfaces with dihedral for better stability. The camouflage differed according to the role, from night aircraft to day schemes with a broken pattern on the upper surfaces.
For builders of the Beaufighter who want the certainty of the regulation pattern and clean edges. Also suitable for modelers who are starting out with masking camouflage and will appreciate a procedure laid out in advance.
