A resin kit of the Czechoslovak light fortification object LO 36B in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker ROP, intended for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker ROP. The model is cast in resin and is intended to be assembled and painted; it faithfully captures the appearance of the real object.
The light fortification model 36 belonged to the first generation of Czechoslovak light fortification, built from 1936 to protect the borders. These were smaller reinforced concrete pillboxes intended for machine gun defense, and they preceded the later, more refined model 37. The objects were manned by small garrisons and formed defensive lines in the landscape.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces (with respiratory protection). They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a primer; build up the concrete surfaces by misting light gray and sand tones, pick out the recesses with a wash and suggest dust or mud with pigments. A smaller object in this scale shows to advantage on a compact diorama with groundwork.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
