Revell de Havilland Vampire FB.5 1:72 is a plastic kit of the British early jet fighter-bomber aircraft with its characteristic twin-boom structure.
Responsibility details are not available.
The injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer Revell represents the British early jet aircraft de Havilland Vampire in the FB.5 version in 1:72 scale. It is a classic kit matching the older origin of the tooling; from it you will assemble a model with the characteristic twin-boom structure of the fuselage and the tail surfaces.
The de Havilland Vampire was one of the first British jet fighter aircraft. It was powered by a de Havilland Goblin centrifugal-flow turbojet, and typical was the short fuselage nacelle with two booms carrying the tail surfaces. The FB.5 fighter-bomber version was the fighter and bombing variant adapted for attacks on ground targets and served in the postwar years with the Royal Air Force and with a number of other air forces.
Before gluing we recommend cleaning up any flash on the parts and checking the fit. Use thin cement for plastic and sand the joints down. Before painting, apply a base color, that is a primer, and an airbrush is suitable for an even coat; you will set the decals on a gloss clear coat and fix them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
