Quinta Studio 1:72, vacuum-formed clear canopy for the F-4J Phantom II

This is NOT an aircraft model but a replacement vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy for a plastic model of the F-4J Phantom II fighter in 1:72 scale. The thin-walled, superbly transparent part takes the place of the thicker production canopy and lets you show the cockpit faithfully in the open position.

Why a vacuum-formed canopy

  • Thinner and cleaner material than an injection-molded part, so better transparency.
  • It allows an open canopy and a better view into the cockpit.
  • The part is cut out along its outline, trimmed to fit and glued on, ideally with glue for clear parts.

  • For modelers building the F-4J Phantom II in 1:72 scale who want a first-rate clear canopy.
  • Suited to showing the cockpit open.

Vacuum-formed parts are thin and delicate; cut with a margin and glue with an adhesive suited to clear plastics. The base model is not included.

No, it is only a replacement clear canopy; the plastic Phantom model has to be bought separately.

It is thinner and more transparent than the production part and lets you show the cockpit open faithfully.
