A plastic kit of the American Northrop Grumman Firebird reconnaissance aircraft in 1:72 scale from Sova Model, in the optionally piloted (OPV) configuration completed with antennas and sensors. The short-run kit contains clear parts and a decal sheet.
The Firebird is an American optionally piloted aircraft of the medium-altitude, long-endurance category. In the OPV version it can fly with or without a pilot and carries interchangeable sensor equipment for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). The antennas and sensors on the fuselage extend its data-gathering capability.
Glue the small antennas and sensors with cyanoacrylate and fit them only after the base coat. Clean up the plastic parts and dry-fit them, and use liquid modeling cement on the plastic. The light reconnaissance colors benefit from a good primer.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
