Armory 1:72 crew of a British heavy bomber of the RAF is a set of resin figures in high altitude flying outfit for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of resin figures in 1:72 scale captures the complete crew of a British heavy bomber of the Second World War in outfit for flight at high altitudes. The package holds seven figures completed by a dog mascot. These are fine castings intended for more experienced modelers.
The crews of British heavy bombers of the RAF operated during the Second World War often at night and at high altitudes, where extreme temperatures prevailed. That is why they wore bulky leather coveralls, fur-lined clothing, oxygen masks and hoods. A seven-man crew corresponded to the usual complement of machines such as the four-engine night bombers.
First wash the resin figures free of the remains of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding. For painting, apply a primer suitable for resin; bring the bulky leather coveralls out with glazes and a dry brush, and liven the fur trims up with lighter accents.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as castings in resin. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
